The UK's energy regulator Ofgem has appointed Absolar as one of its suppliers in a new framework agreement to drive the UK’s transition to net zero and ensure the security of supply for consumers.
Ofgem has awarded Absolar a place on a two-year arrangement in the areas of energy efficiency.
The award will see us bid for a variety of advisory opportunities alongside other leading consultancies.
The framework is officially titled the Energy and Economic Services and Advice Framework. Being part of it demonstrates our growing reputation in the UK energy market for expertise in identifying routes to reducing energy waste and carbon emissions using novel and emerging technologies. The framework runs until 2024, with the option to extend for up to two 12-month periods.
Nic Cory, Director of Absolar, said: “Having the UK’s regulator appoint us to the framework for advice is an excellent opportunity to share our team's expertise and unique abilities to identify and quantify energy efficiency opportunities. We look forward to shaping the future of energy in the UK and we are proud to support Ofgem and wider consumers at an unprecedented time when energy efficiency is paramount for both economic and environmental reasons."
